D.o.D. – Democracy over Disinformation – Methodical Tool
The project D.o.D. – Democracy over Disinformation (101081216), funded by the European Union within the framework of the CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) programme, aims to raise awareness of the phenomenon of disinformation and fake news and the importance of media literacy, especially in relation to democratic debate. Furthermore, the project strives to promote cross-sectoral cooperation by involving municipalities, libraries, universities/schools/NGOs (youth), youth centres in the project and thus ensure visibility and success of the project. Finally, the project also aims as a transversal objective to create a network between southern, western and eastern European countries in order to work together for the benefits of the EU and spread its values.
The methodical manual of the ‘D.o.D.’ project aims to provide European citizens with valuable information, knowledge and skills to recognise fake news and to counter the rampant phenomenon of media disinformation.
