Escape Racism Kit for youth workers is an online course that introduces to the products of the Erasmus + project Escape Racism – Toolbox for inclusive communities. It is a project co-funded by the European Commission inside the KA2 programme, Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of good practices. The project started in January 2020, it will last two years, during which 5 partner organizations from 4 different countries (Italy, UK, Spain and Hungary) cooperated to develop different activities to reach specific objectives.
Its main aim is to build inclusive societies where young people will promote respect of human rights, combat racism and discrimination and act as multipliers for their peers. The innovation of non formal methodologies and gaming tools will facilitate the professional growth of youth workers and foster the personal development of youth, especially those ones with fewer opportunities

The course is structured as follows:

  • Handbook on methodologies
  • 5 topic videos on Racism & Discrimination, Modern Slavery, Borders, Disability and Bullying
  • Toolkit – practical tools for youth workers
  • 10 How to Guide to build and replicate 10 different educative escape rooms scenarios
  • 10 video tutorials on Escape Room scenarios
